Icon Bakery Kitchenette is more than a bakery—we are building healthier, brighter futures for children and families. 💙💛

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where children of all abilities and backgrounds can learn through fun, hands-on experiences.

We combine our love for baking and food with education. Through our children’s workshops and community programs, we teach healthy eating, nutrition, baking and cooking skills, dental hygiene, personal care, cleanliness, teamwork, confidence, independence, and everyday life skills.

Our bakery creates delicious treats while also working to introduce healthier food choices, nutritious snacks, parfaits, salads, drinks, and other options that encourage families and children to think about their overall health.

Our Story

Icon Bakery Kitchenette was created from love, family, faith, and a desire to serve our community. What began with baking grew into a bigger vision: using food as a way to bring children and families together while giving children opportunities to learn skills they can carry throughout their lives.

We especially want children with disabilities and special needs to know that they belong, they are included, and they are capable of learning and accomplishing great things.

What We Are Working to Accomplish

Our goal is to expand our children’s workshops, provide more nutrition and health education, promote good dental hygiene and cavity prevention, teach practical kitchen and life skills, and continue reaching families throughout our communities.

We are not only baking treats—we are baking with a purpose.
